Peruvian Potato Pie

High up in the Andes Mountains in Peru, they make a potato pie featuring layers of mashed potatoes, tomatoes and cheese – crowned with a golden egg topping. I just think it’s a unique way to serve mashed potatoes! From the food and travel website, www.robinbenzle.com

    Yummm! I made this with a little picadillo. I love Peruvian causa but this was even better, so good in fact that I will serve it at my next dinner party.

    ok i did it but i added bacon to 1 i actually did two i followed your recipe and mine i added bacon it was very good if they only made some kind of wine to go with it.. ahh well! thank you.

    Love the music. I have never been to S. America but once saw a band/flute players at a street festival in Toronto..it was a hot summer night & their music blew me away. It touched a cord that is indescribable..well..you know.
